Note the appurtenances on this aboveground tank. Starting from the back of the tank: a hoist, a gage well with gage, a manway, a lifting eye, another gage, a vent, the fuel inflow pipe, the fuel outflow is probably on the bottom. This tank, although above ground was subject to flooding, so the the tank is bolted down to the concrete supports.
